Can I change the sound when in Drive?
Yes, you can change the sound, adjust the volume, or turn simulated gear shifts on and off at any time, even while driving.
Which vehicles are currently supported?
All Tesla Model 3 and Model Y vehicles, all Tesla Model S and X, Cybertruck, the Ford Mustang Mach-E, and the Ford F-150 Lightning EV are currently supported. More vehicles will be added through future system updates.
Where can the Glydsphere speaker be mounted?
The Glydsphere Speaker is designed to be mounted inside your vehicle's frunk and requires no professional installation. It can be securely fixated using the included Velcro mounting pads.
Is it legal to play loud audio?
All EVs are required to have sound for pedestrian safety. Control the volume through your phone to match your surroundings.
What tools do I need and is a professional installation required?
To connect the Glydpulse Power Supply, only a basic screwdriver and ratchet are required. The installation process is simple, and a detailed setup manual is included. Professional installation is not required.
How do I turn the Speaker on and off?
Once the Glydpulse Power Supply is connected, you can use the included remote control to power the system on and off directly from your seat. The system can also be powered manually from the Glydsphere unit itself.
How do I control the volume of the Speaker?
The system volume can be adjusted directly from the Glydsphere App or from the speaker itself for quick and easy control at any time.
Does the installing the Glydsphere System affect my vehicle warranty?
No, the Glydsphere System is designed for noninvasive installation and does not modify your vehicle's factory systems, helping preserve your vehicle warranty.
What is the Glydpulse Power Supply?
The Glydpulse Power Supply delivers stable power directly from your vehicle to the Glydsphere Speaker and is designed for reliable, remote-controlled operation. It is engineered for EV use and does not noticeably impact your vehicle's driving range during normal operation.
System FAQ
Do I need to use the app every time I drive?
No. Once installed and configured, the Glydsphere System runs fully integrated with your vehicle and does not require constant use of your phone. The app is only used to adjust settings, change sound profiles, control volume, and manage system features when desired.
What sounds do you offer?
We offer a growing library of EV performance sound profiles inspired by real car engines, futuristic sci-fi propulsion, and iconic movie vehicles. The Glydsphere audio library is continuously expanded with new sounds and features, shaped by ongoing development and community feedback.
What does the Glydcore Computer do?
The Glydcore Computer is the core of the Glydsphere System it reads real-time vehicle data and powers the sound engine, allowing the system respond dynamically to acceleration, deceleration, speed, and driving behavior with precise, low-latency audio performance.
Do I need an OBD harness for my vehicle?
Depending on your vehicle, a specific OBD adapter harness for the Glydcore Computer may be required. All Tesla vehicles require an adapter harness, and we can provide trusted vendor recommendations for compatible options. Ford EVs currently supported by Glydsphere do not require an adapter harness.
How do I connect the Glydcore Computer and where is it installed?
The Glydcore Computer connects to your vehicle's OBD port or compatible OBD adapter harness and is powered through USB-C. Its compact design allows it to be securely tucked away inside your center console or nearby interior compartment. The Glydcore then wirelessly transmits real-time sound data directly to the Glydsphere Speaker.

What is Glydsphere’s return policy?
You may return the Speaker within 30 days of purchase, with shipping costs funded by the buyer. You will receive a refund to your original payment method within 15 business days.
